    • Efka® RM 1920
    • Efka® RM 1920 (Old name: Rilanit® Special Micro) by BASF is a hydrogenated castor oil. Acts as a thixotropic agent for paints, printing inks and other coatings. Offers very good working and flow properties. Substantially reduces pigment settling. Prevents sagging of thick films on vertical surfaces. Used in most non-aqueous coatings both with and without solvents like primers, fillers and topcoats, based on chlorinated rubber, alkyd resins, epoxy resins and unsaturated polyester. Efka® RM 1920 imparts good brushability. It is also compatible with acrylates, polyurethane, epoxy esters, PVC and PVC copolymers, tar, bitumen, and polyethylene chloride.
