    • FoamStar® ED 2522 by BASF is a high-performance, VOC-free, ultra-low-SVOC silicone emulsion defoamer. Suitable for premium water-based paints, clear coats and inks. It offers excellent foam suppression during the grinding process as well as during applications. It retains antifoam efficiency even during long storage and minimizes gloss reduction. It is suitable for pigmented systems and clear coats. FoamStar® ED 2522 is recommended for architectural, industrial and wood coatings. It is designed for printing inks and overprint varnishes. The dosage level is 0.1-1.0% on total formulations.
